Importance of time in Sales Performance

Very few people on my sales training can notify me exactly what level of income they are aiming to gain as well as how much are they are well worth every hour.

The truth is, if you have a clear knowledge of how much your time and effort will be worth annually you can get a whole new opinion on the importance of the measures you take.

My view on time management, activity planning and delegation took a dramatic upheaval when I went through an exercise I found in a book by Dan Kennedy called “Time Management for Entrepreneurs”. I bet you’ll feel the same after you have read the book yourself!

Are you productive all of the time?

I guarantee that you are not. At best you’re truly productive a third of one’s working day. That is where you’re engaged in functions that will make you money as opposed to firefighting.

If you are indeed productive a third of your time, you might want to check this out.

Be honest as you’re only cheating yourself if you don’t. The remaining portion of the formula runs on the grounds that there are generally 220 business days each year and this is our ‘income generating times ‘. If the ones you have is below this because of lengthened holiday or lifestyle goals then again be truthful with yourself and lower this amount.

An demonstration of the equation is:

Targeted Earnings Example For Somebody desirous to Get £50,000

Base Target Revenue £50,000

Divided By 220 days x 8 = 1,760 hours of work in a year Divided By
1,760
Base Hourly Number £28.40
Times Productivity vs non productivity multiple X 3
Your Time And Efforts May Be Valued At Per Hour £85.20 per hour.
Your Time may be worth for each minute (divide by 60) £1.42

In case your situation doesn’t provide itself to this way of computation then make it work! For instance consider the total productivity of your business directly owing to you and utilize that figure.

It doesn’t have to be precise just use the data to examine your efficiency per hour. When you finally know the importance of your time you may start to let go of the uncomplicated, daily duties that you get caught up in that are holding you back from generating sales and making extra money.

It might be an overwhelming possibility but go through this exercise repeatedly right up until you have it ingrained in your own mind how valuable you are! Write it on a card and pin it to your compter and carry it in your wallet. Remind yourself daily by reading your card that says:

“I am worth £zxyper hour.. Am I carrying out activities that will make me that Right now?”

And don’t forget to improve your skills by investing in presentation training
